Easing the load on hospitals during Covid-19/Coronovirus Pandemic

Covid-19 Coronovirus Fractures & Broken Bones
The Private Fracture Clinic is conveniently located in Southport on the Gold Coast.  We specialise in the treatment and aftercare of all fractures, broken bones and limb injuries.

As our public hospitals, including our local Gold Coast University Hospital, experience increased demand in their A&E department, and are stretched to their limits during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, the Private Fracture Clinic is offering patients an alternative to the busy emergency departments. This will also help lighten the load on our public health system during this trying time.

We appreciate that every patient’s time is valuable and with the current situation patients are not wanting to be in public areas or populated areas for long periods of time.  That’s why we ensure patients are seen and treated as quickly as possible and given a range of treatment alternatives such as waterproof casts and removable splints.

Patients are seen by specialist doctors with interests in fractures and trauma, supported by skilled plaster technicians and nurse practitioners with access to orthopaedic surgeons for specialist opinion within minutes.

Bulk billing is available depending on the treatment required, or patients have a low out-of-pocket cost for any orthopaedic device purchased.  We offer a range of orthopaedic devices such as waterproof casts, synthetic casts, removable braces, moon boots and range of motion braces.

We are closely monitoring the advice being given by the Department of Health and other governing bodies to ensure we implement and comply with all recommendations to keep our staff and patients safe.
