The Fracture Clinic operates on a transparent, fixed-gap model to keep your out-of-pocket costs predictable and affordable.
Consultation Fees
- Initial Consultation: Flat $145.00 out-of-pocket gap.
- Review / Follow-Up Consultation: Flat $85.00 out-of-pocket gap.
How it works for Medicare-eligible specialists:
Your upfront total will vary depending on the specific clinician you see and the length of your appointment, but once your Medicare rebate is instantly processed at our reception desk, your final out-of-pocket gap remains exactly the same.
How it works for Physiotherapy:
If you are seeing our Physiotherapist, there is no Medicare rebate, so you simply pay the flat $145.00 initial or $85.00 review fee upfront. If you have private health insurance with “Extras” cover, you can claim on the spot via HICAPS, and your provider may cover some or all of this fee.
Products & Consumables
Casts, moonboots, splints, and braces are an additional cost. We keep the cost for these items as low as possible. If you have private health insurance with extras cover, you may be able to claim all or part of this cost depending on your health fund and level of cover. Medicare does not provide a rebate for any products purchased.
