MEET THE TEAM
Dr Henri Coombs
General Practitioner
Dr Henri Coombs completed his medical degree MBChB in Manchester and GP qualifications MRCGP in Oxford England. He studied Sports Medicine at Bath University. Henry was a team doctor for Reading FC.
He works 2 days a week in public and private Emergency Departments on the Gold Coast. He has many years of experience managing simple fractures and sports injuries. Henri is also a keen runner and soccer player.
Dr Rajjit Ahluwalia
General Practitioner
Dr Rajjit completed his medical degree at Deakin University in 2015. He has since completed his fellowship (FRACGP) and is a local GP on the Gold Coast. He has a keen interest in diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal injuries including fracture management.
Dr Rajjit will look after your injury with compassion and help guide you through your recovery.
Dr Paul Bowe
Emergency Medicine Specialist
Paul is an emergency department doctor with specialist qualifications, he is a Fellow of Australasian College for Emergency Medicine, FACEM. He has practised on the Gold Coast for 25 years and has extensive experience in the management of upper and lower limb injuries and fractures. In his clinical work at The Fracture Clinic he will, when necessary, consult with and refer to specialist orthopaedic surgeons those patients who might require an operation.
Loahnna
Orthopaedic Nurse Practitioner
Loahnna has been working in the Fracture Clinic for the last 4 years as an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner. She has 14 years of emergency nurse experience and holds many degrees and certifications.
She takes a holistic approach with her care to ensure patients get the best care possible and looks after fractures, wounds and soft tissue injuries. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and spending time with friends, family and her lively golden retriever.
Rob
Advanced Practice Physiotherapist
Rob worked for QLD Health for 20 years and in the Gold Coast University Emergency Department for 15 years as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist. With his experience and knowledge Rob is able to interpret radiology images, diagnose and treat acute injuries and provide fracture management.
Rob is trained in casting with multiple products including splints and will individualise post injury rehabilitation to help patients regain their optimal return to function and achieve their goals. His interests include triathlons and international travel. Rob is located at our Southport Clinic.
Ron
Orthopaedic Cast Technician
Ron is a certified orthopaedic cast technician and holds a Cert IV in Cast Technology. Ron has over 20 years experience in hospitals and in the private sector. Ron has enjoyed lecturing at Rural Skills Qld, Bond University and Queensland hospitals. Ron has obtained many certificates over the years and keeps up to date with the latest technology from attending orthopaedic workshops. You will see Ron at our Southport Clinic.
Renee
Business Manager
Renee has been working at The Fracture Clinic since 2017. Renee has worked in a range of sectors including Aged Care, Community Nursing, Private Practices and Disability Services.
Renee finds helping others very rewarding. She enjoys the outdoors, keeping active and loves spending time with her family, friends and dogs.
Donna
Medical Receptionist
Donna joined our team in 2022 after 30 years working in medical centres. Donna is loving the change and challenges of working in a different field and has enjoyed learning about fractures. When Donna’s on her days off she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
